June Fishing Blog…The Storm Before The Calm.

Bloody Hell! It is June already!!!

I cannot believe it is time for the June Fishing Blog…The only problem is, I haven’t done much fishing, instead I have been concentrating my efforts on other interests but not to worry, I have built up a good head of steam and so we shall have ” The June Fishing Blog…The Storm Before The Calm”R18

As it is often said, you should never discuss religion or politics, well, arse to that, I will happily discuss both because to brush either one under the rug of civility, is to avoid the real problems in life, problem that blight our world and make the whole thing a lot shittier than needs be.

So, lets start on politics…I voted UKIP at the local and European elections…WHY?

Because I am a nasty racist?images (34)

Get yourself  to fook!

I am not “racist” by any measure conceivable, I am however “culturalist” and will not tolerate the vile and debased actions of anyone regardless of skin colour or place of birth when those actions fall under the catch all safety net of “culture” and “cultural differences”.

Cultural differences such as chopping little girls lady bits off and then stitching them up so that all their “bits” are good for is passing water and menstrual fluids till they get married to some twat that will have them re-opened with a blunt animal horn ( I KID YOU NOT…HOW SERIOUSLY CRAP IS THAT!?!)

Nah, I am not having that female genital mutilation! That is fooking barbaric stone age shit and I am not having fook all to do with it, fook that! Can you imagine the pain of ripping a hole in a girl with a lump of horn and then having the nerve to demand sex from her, talk about him being a woman hating faggot of Godzillian proportions!

Another cultural difference it seems is the Islamic intolerance of dogs and down in Tower Hamlets they have gone a step further and declared a Muslim controlled zone that prohibits dogs.

How about fook off, fook right of and when you get there fook off a bit more, we Brits love our dogs and as this is Britain we will walk our dogs where we like, when we like and as often as we like and anyone that says otherwise can go and join the bloke that is currently on the second leg of his fooking off expedition to the far distant reaches of “off”.

Shit like that just pisses me off…there is no frigging need for it.Parkwarning

But that isn’t the main reason I voted UKIP, I voted UKIP because I do not think that being in the EU is in anyway shape of form good for Great Britain, The EU is in no part anything like what the British people signed up to, Britain signed up to a trading agreement and not a Federal Superstate that dictates everything from the curvature and length of the bananas we buy to the number of hours that one can work.

One bloke that talks as much sense as me is  Pat Condell, I class him as a brother from another mother, we think alike in many ways, so I have included a few Pat Condell videos

Anyway back to my original point, I voted UKIP because I want change, I want to feel the breeze on my face as we head off into the great unknown and break new territory because quite frankly I am sick to death of being fed the same old tired shit from the leaders of the big three political parties.

Don’t get me wrong I think David Cameron is doing a great job of drinking from a poisoned chalice because whoever won the last General Election was absolutely 100% fucked from day one and compound that with the amount of time the Coalition Government has wasted on stuff like same sex marriage and proportional representation they have the economy ticking along at a reasonable rate of knots, not that I am knocking same sex marriage, it is however in my opinion vanity legislation fit for blue-sky times rather than times of great upheaval and stress.

If boys want to marry boys and girls want to marry girls, who the hell am I to stop them? what they do with their giblets is up to them…

That is unless the UK adopts a more Islamic tone, which would result in Bob and John and Sally and Pippa being stoned to death whilst the crowd sing out ” Alan Akbar” ( I won’t even spell that shit correctly)

And that is something else I want from UKIP, I want a block placing on Islam because Islam has no place in the modern world and anyone who says otherwise is either a Muslim, on the Islamic payroll and taking backhanders or is a fucking moron of such immense size that they make a Brontosaurus  look like a new born Leopard Gecko.

What have I got against Muslims?

Nothing as individuals but Islam on the other-hand is the most barbaric doctrine ever complied in human history, you only have to Google Islamic Jihad and the results with astound and terrify, the depths that these people have falled to are hard to comprehend, be-headings are seen as good, murder and rape are virtuous…No, not for me.

Anyway moving on

Further proof that Sheffield is being run ( into the ground) by a bunch of wankers came when I found out that my butterfly meadow was to be bulldozed in the middle of July, the arguments in regards to Bowden Houstead have been ongoing for months and only a few days previous I had a letter in the Sheffield Star related to the site meeting we had had during the winter.

Here is a copy of the letter

The results of the Local and European elections were not that much of a surprise to me, I had expected the major parties to get a nose bleed at the hands of UKIP because quite frankly many millions of people are becoming totally disillusioned with the constant miasma of lies and corruption that hangs around politicians like the wretched stench of a three day dead dog. Last year I along with a group of concerned residents and good friends tried our very best to prevent the granting of planning permission for a fire station to be built on Bowden Houstead Field ( picture enclosed), a Greenbelt site that is a super environment to spot butterflies by the hundred. During my protest it was agreed that two Councillors ( Leigh Bramall and Jack Scott) and a planning officer would make a site visit to reassure us that they had our best interests at heart and the plan was essential ( they certainly did not turn up to see our side of the argument or change their opinions) Anyway, I digress, the conversation eventually drifted towards general local politics and I made the comment that UKIP would win seats and cause a “storm” come the next local election The look on Leigh Brammall’s face would be best described as incredulous at the outlandish nature of my statement, in fact he laughed at the preposterous nature of my prediction. Alas, Sheffield Council in their shortsighted lack of wisdom approved the plan, our flower meadow and butterfly haven will be destroyed but what I said that day was proved correct, UKIP took seats and the gap between Labour and UKIP has narrowed dramatically. There is a lesson to be learned from all this, politicians need listen to the wishes of the people and heed their warnings because we put them in positions of power and we can take those positions away. UKIP took three in Sheffield and it will take more again next time, Labour is not the party of the common man anymore, the clock is now ticking…tick tock tick tock!

Is it all quite so funny now Cllr Brammall?

LS Sheffield

Councillor Bramall took great offence at what I had written and soon had a letter of his own in print rebuking my version of events which started
I was saddened to read the letter from LS claiming I looked at him ‘incredulously’ and ‘laughed’ at his suggestion that UKIP would create a storm in the local elections. I did no such thing.
It blathered on for a bit and then finished
The Planning Committee voted in favour of the fire station being on the site. I understand LS is very unhappy with the decision and may be angry about it, however, I don’t believe I have ever scoffed and laughed at any constituent who has expressed a political view.

Councillors are often faced with difficult decisions. The Planning Committee had to consider the evidence, both the ecological argument made by LS, but also the need of the local community to have the most effective fire cover to keep them safe.

Councillors have to represent everyone’s interests as best they can on such matters.

That is the right way to make decisions and I am satisfied that they did so as part of a proper process, even if LS does not agree with the outcome.

Councillor Leigh Bramall

Well seeing as I am barred from posting onto the Sheffield Stars website because I have anti-islamic points of view I thought that I would  email the Councillor directly, I don’t like to think that a person considers me “told”

Hello,

I cannot reply to your letter in the Star as I am banned from posting ( it seems anyone that has reservations in regards to Islam is an enemy of the State)I am afraid to tell you that your face was “incredulous”, you may not have thought it was, but faces don’t lie and the tone you took when I said UKIP would score highly was “mocking”. As for the possibility that I may be angry in regards to the theft of Sheffield Greenbelt, no. I am way beyond angry, there would need to be a new term invented for the level of fury that SCC and SYFR have generated. What you have done is wrong, the site is in the wrong place, the Parkway shuts down to a standstill almost daily, people will die because of this corrupt and ill thought out decision. Also, could the timing of the bulldozing have been any worse? Mid July when almost all the warblers that are nesting on the edging will be on eggs or young and the butterflies will be in full flight…seriously Sheffield needs to reevaluate its green credentials as they are a joke.

Now Councillors do not like to think that the citizens they represent have minds of their own, in fact they would prefer it if we didn’t as being questioned and taken to task over such things as building on Greenbelt is simply not on.

Anyway the Councillor in question soon replied in a manner that I can only describe as condescending, I will not reproduce the entire correspondence as that wouldn’t be cool but here is a taster

Hi Lee

To be honest, I felt very let down by your letter.  If my face was incredulous (and this is a strong word) it may have been in response to what I perceived of as a threat.  I don’t know.  But it was not because I was mocking your suggestion that UKIP could well.  I have never mocked anyone’s suggestions in this way, and I am confident that anyone you ask would confirm this.  If you believe I was, it’s because you do not know me very well.  I am not some arrogant Councillor who simply assumes I can do whatever I want at will.  I have talked to a number of people in the ward I represent about the BNP in the past, and I never mocked any of them. Instead I listened and tried to understand what their concerns were and relayed these in debates in our party.

Now, when a person implies that I have a poor grasp of language by informing me that “incredulous” is a very strong word that person has set off on the wrong footing and so I was soon on the keyboard forming a suitable relpy

Leigh,

Look at Sheffield.
It is a mess, it is possibly beyond repair, there are many policies that have been put in place by the Labour council and previous Labour Government that have no popular mandate with the average person and that is the truth of it, 70% of Sheffielders are so disenfranchised that they no longer feel engaged in the political process.
Let’s look at immigration for a start, labour had no right to open the borders and flood the jobs market with people that are willing to work for almost nothing and in doing so cram the entry level jobs that millions of young average British kids generally did ( kitchen porters and such likes) Labour also had/have no right to encourage positive discrimination against British workers ( positive discrimination is still discrimination)
Locally the Labour Council had/have no approval for the City of Sanctuary project, this is something that has delivered nothing but ghettos and a rise in crime. The truth of it is simple, the majority of Britons do not care where these people came from, we do not care for their sob story and we do not wish to adapt our own culture to suit their needs ( this is where I have a problem with Islamic values, I do not and will adapt to suit a people that are so intolerant and cruel) and this is what UKIP are picking up on. British people have no problem with high quality immigration of people with HIGH QUALITY skills but we do not need or want some of the dross that is flooding our estates. As for the banking background and big business interests of UKIP, most people don’t mind getting shafted by politicians, in fact we expect it, just so long as they leave a few quid on the bedside table afterwards, what are we getting and what have we got from Labour?
Ed Milliband the millionaire son of a Marxist immigrant that has stated on record that he hates the English as a race surrounded by seven Labour millionaires in his shadow cabinet and at least thirteen other millionaires in his inner circle then we have Tony Blaire a multi-millionaire lawyer ( £70 m in the bank…What a working class hero he is)  that did his best as Prime Minister to destroy and bankrupt Britain by opening the flood gates to the benefit system to all and sundry and blowing up sand with very expensive bombs, Gordon Brown another millionaire Scotsman that was so hated Labour lost more seats under him (91) than they have ever lost in an election.
So please…don’t go down that track against UKIP because it won’t wash, UKIP will gain popularity on populist issues, end of.
And as an example of that can you hand on heart say that the Roma are making a positive contribution to Sheffield? Is Page Hall a success story for Sheffield, is Darnall?
Right lets do environmental issues such as BHF, the council has no right to give away what it holds in trust for the people of Sheffield, the Council should hang its head in shame at what it has done. I was at the planning meeting and I was shocked at the quality of the committee, one woman even had her shopping with her and one old chap who I believe to be the same bloke that has just been made Mayor when asked if he had any issue with the project mustered the ground breaking question ” Will it have sprinklers?”
Seriously one of the committee that is charged with improving Sheffield lacked so much coherent thought that the only question he could muster was ” Has it got sprinklers?”
This was the same committee that had just spent the best part of an hour discussing the merits of a nine foot stone retention wall on Ecclesall Road !
The entire meeting was a sham, the decision had been made beforehand, the whole thing was pantomime and please do not insult my intelligence by saying otherwise, I have an IQ equivalent to several of those committee members combined and can smell bullshit a mile away.
Finally.
Stop blaming Central Government cuts for all of Sheffield’s Ills, it is wearing thin, we have to live within our means so cut the cloth accordingly and stop wasting money on vanity projects, engage the people of Sheffield and if needs be ask for advice and opinions, Sheffield Council has a very odd concept of the word ” consultation” Sheffield has some extremely intelligent men and women that would offer up policy advice free of charge unlike the councils continued use of “professional marketing and consultancy companies” that charge an arm and a leg and have up to this point been an expensive disappointment to the people of Sheffield.

I hope you take this email in the right manner and learn from it

Lee
I think the above email contains some common sense and some sound advice and at no point does it deviate from “fact”, unfortunately Councillor Bramall is a Labourite and for me to call into question the Labour record was a step too far…Again I will not reproduce the entire correspondence but here is how he started
Hi Lee
Needless to say, I disagree with many points you make – that Labour had a policy of positive discrimination against British workers, that all Muslims are cruel, etc.  When we start casting all people with one characteristic is when problems begin.  This is not to say that immigration shouldn’t be controlled or doesn’t pose issues that need to be addressed. I also don’t agree that Sheffield is a mess or beyond repair
The middle part blathered on about results and stuff but it was mostly lefty stuff  that does not stand up to scrutiny, he finished the letter in the usual manner when Councillors consider that they have done enough talking down to the minions
As I said, I take some of your points, many I don’t.  I won’t be responding further as we could debate these issues forever. Hopefully, by the end of the year you’ll see some positive things come forward for the city that you will recognise are positive.
I cannot tell you how much I hope that is true, I love my home city but the truth of the matter is that it is a shit hole, Sheffield is a mess, it is uncoordinated, dislocated and disemboweled and so I put together my own “final word”
Leigh,
you are correct we will never agree on everything because you are tied to a Labour point of reference whereas I am free to see the bigger picture. I did not say individual Muslims were cruel, I said I would not adapt to suit “Islamic values”, Islam is an evil doctrine that promotes the raising of intolerant and cruel people. Gays rights, Human rights, Animal rights, Sexual equality are alien concepts in Islamic countries and to say otherwise is a lie. Labour did introduce “positive discrimination” into the British jobs market, to disagree is crass stupidity and even though the previous Labour Government created  a lot of jobs it is widely accepted that over 90% of these jobs went to immigrants either legal or illegal something that resulted in the mass unemployment of British youth. Advanced manufacturing and the research center is awesome, I will take nothing away from that, high-end development of future technologies is the way to go for Sheffield and the UK’s traditionally industrial cities. Sheffield does have some good city center events, I recently did the Food Festival, which was an improvement on the year previous but the fact that the Market was allowed to close Sunday and Monday kind of spoiled the whole effect of it being on the Moor, an opportunity missed to introduce new customers to a struggling venture. Also too much of the budget is used on security, this needs a little thought. As for Labour rebuilding all the Secondary Schools, yes, this may well be the fact of it but there is little point in having great schools if our teachers cannot raise Sheffield’s results any higher than 136th out of 150. This failure to achieve is a result of schools being flooded with children that either do not speak English or don’t care less about having an education and in doing so drag the whole lot down with them. My daughters school is structurally a pile of rubbish but the results are tremendous, good schools don’t mean good students. Godfrey Blooms comment about “sluts” was a joke taken out of context and used against him by politically motivated individuals, the same argument cannot be used against Nazir Ahmed the low life Labour Lord that offered bounties for assassinations (as a joke?) and claimed he was only jailed after a fatal car accident because of a Jewish conspiracy.

As for cuts, SCC is a most wasteful and mismanaged operation with many “non-job” people on outlandish wages using marketing consultancies that charge outlandish rates and whilst ever you scream like spoiled children that have had their spending monies stopped whilst closing libraries but still allowing ever more expensive and high maintenance new arrivals to take up residence, the more I will push for further cuts.
But as you say there is little point in continuing this much further, until the next time.

By the way, I will continue to bang on about whatever I find that is not to my liking in Sheffield and will use these transgressions against you like a blunt instrument, remember, you work for us and our interests not for your egos and future political careers.

Lee

The end of the meadow will be soonNow, none of this blustering on my part has done anything whatsoever for Bowden Houstead Field nor did it save so much as a single one of the flowering borage plants  nor did it secure the safety of any of the  butterflies, bumble bee’s, bat’s or birds, the Bulldozer arrived and it will destroy everything in its path eventually.

The actual job of saving stuff cannot be trusted with politicians, it will always be left to the little people like me and you.

And so today, with the “dozer” in view I went up armed with a dozen small tubs and with them rescued a microscopic amount of the fields  biodiversity in the shape of a few Furrow Spiders, a couple of  large Wolf Spiders, a dozen or more caterpillars and a half dozen cocoons of various species. These I re-homed on my new meadow on identical plants that I have already moved from BHF…a home from home so to speak.

A wolf spider with babies But as I have said, all the arguing, the emails, the petitioning and bollocks aside I have failed in what I wanted to do, I haven’t saved my flower meadow from destruction what I hope I will have done however is remind  the Councillors of Sheffield that their are people out there far below what can be viewed from their ivory towers that still remember what voting is for and could quite possibly get other people to remember what voting is for…and quite possibly one day the electoral turn out will not be a pathetic 30% but rather an enraged 100% and these comfortable little jobs at the trough will be gone.

That day cannot come too soon, Sheffield Council needs taking to task and when they are sorted out and Sheffield is shiny once more, the world is next!

Reyt…enough…I am going fishing soon.

TTFN

As a final point check out what Prof. Ian Rotherham thinks about the construction of a fire-station, he is far more intelligent than myself which means he is a bloody genius of high caliber

http://ianswalkonthewildside.wordpress.com/

and if the whole thing pisses you off enough to do something about it why not try sending a few words to either the Sheffield Star

Letters@thestar.co.uk

Or perhaps to the Sheffield Councillor for the Environment Jack Scott

Jack.scott@sheffield.gov.uk

Or the Councillor for planning Leigh Brammall

Leigh.bramall@sheffield.gov.uk

Tell them what you think to the environment being abused in such a despicable manner, especially when there is so much waste land withing striking distance from this spot that would be perfect for redevelopment. Go on, get active…give it a shot!

best regards

Lee
